The name
Meelai means “the future.”
Meelai comes from 未来 — “future” in Japanese (mirai) and Taiwanese (bī-lâi). 未 is “not yet,” 来 is “to come”: what hasn’t arrived, but is already on its way.
That’s the whole intent of the work — helping teams build toward the future they’re capable of, with AI that compounds into lasting advantage instead of a passing trend.
The operator
I've spent about a decade building software at a Big Tech company in Silicon Valley, working on systems built to stay reliable at massive scale. That experience spans backend systems, data infrastructure, automation, and applied AI — and it shapes how I work today: designing dependable systems, solving hard technical problems, and turning ambitious ideas into software people can actually use.
At Meelai, clients work directly with the person designing the solution, writing the code, and making the technical decisions.
